Entrepreneurial behavior scale: a validation study

Resumo

This study has two purposes. First, we assessed the reliability and factor structure of the English-language version of the Entrepreneurial Behavior Scale. Second, we measured its convergent validity. We used two data sets from previous studies exploring entrepreneurial behavior among public school teachers in the United States. Data set #1 consisted of 311 participants and data set #2 had 367. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis indicated adequate fit indexes. Results indicated a good Cronbach

Vinicius Picanço Rodrigues, INSPER, São Paulo, SP

Assistant Professor at Insper, Brazil. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), along with a Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an M.Sc. and B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil.

Dominic Lusinchi, University of California, Berkeley, CA

Graduate of University of California, Berkeley and of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris), and received a doctorate in sociology from the University of Paris VIII. He is a retired independent social research consultant, and instructor at the University of California, Berkeley Extension (Department of Business, Technology and Engineering), where he taught statistical software.
